NICE-PAK GERMANY PRODUCTION FACILITY:

Nice-Pak Products is the worldwide leader in pre-moistened wipes, providing the highest quality, cost-competitive, innovative wet wipe products to the consumer, healthcare, food service and industrial markets.

With manufacturing plants in New York, Indiana, the United Kingdom and Germany Nice-Pak operate the worlds most comprehensive and highly advanced wet wipe facilities. Their manufacturing is complemented with strategically located distribution facilities to optimise service to all their customers and markets.

Working closely with Nice-Pak's projects department, ADL developed a reliable recipe driven control architecture for consistent quality production of lotion required by Nice-Pak.

The archetecture was based around Allen-Bradley hardware and Intouch's WonderWare graphical interface software. Actual communication with system I/O was achieved using Allen-Bradley's DeviceNet protocol and Flex I/O modules.
